Lawrence Lord, better known as The Purist is a British hip hop producer from Chichester, West Sussex[1]. The Purist is also the Creative Director of Daupe![2] A British record label releasing material by Your Old Droog, Danny Brown[3] and Freddie Gibbs, as well as Shady Records artists Westside Gunn & Conway .He is best known for production & collaborations with Action Bronson, Danny Brown , Freddie Gibbs[4] , Mick Jenkins[5] & British Gime MC CASisDEAD. His production can also be found on Loyle Carner's critically acclaimed 2017 album "Yesterday's Gone" in which he produced the lead single Isle Of Arran[6].
